The Vu’ gallery

Classy, avant-gardist, the Vu' gallery asserted itself as one of the largest private galleries in Paris dedicated to photography.

Of course, the Vu' gallery is linked to the Vu' agency, since both of them have the same artistic director. Whereas the agency, media-oriented, brings to attention all the contemporary photographers, without being limited by style, the gallery has her small specialties. Quality and strictness always meet in its 550 square meters located in the former mansion of the painter Paul Delaroche, in the middle of the district called the "new Athens", close to St. Lazare.

The guest artists, from Michael Ackerman to Antoine D'Agata, including Pierre Verger and Bernard Faucon, all have a different view of the world. Still, it is always an instructive view. The gallery asserts its strong taste for two quite separate approaches of photography: the intimate and autobiographical one, on the one hand, and the conceptual one, close to contemporary art, on the other hand. By permanently questioning the reality of everyday life, the Vu' gallery reveals visions of all ages and all backgrounds.
