Come here to admire the legendary painting Impression, Sunrise. The museum is situated in a private mansion near the Trocadéro and also has a large collection of works donated by Claude Monet's second son. A new 200 sq m area especially dedicated to Monet gives visitors the chance to admire his paintings of the Normandy coast and those inspired by his garden in Giverny and stay in London.
There are also many other works of art on display by artists such as Manet, Renoir, Sisley and Pissarro, and a beautiful collection of oil paintings, watercolours, pastels and drawings by Berthe Morisot, the female member of the Impressionist circle.
