We come here, to the banks of the river Seine, to immerse ourselves once more in the joyous atmosphere of the Impressionist period. From 1855 to 1928, this open-air café attracted Parisians enjoying their new-found leisure time, particularly Monet and Renoir, who featured it in several paintings. Through canvases, objects and engravings presented along with the decor of a Belle Epoque café, the museum is the memory of this place of leisure, culture and pleasure, which the Impressionists were particularly fond of.
