Paris Plages has been welcoming Parisians and tourists for 14 years now. And, once again this summer, the urban beach is back, along with – of course – its approx. 5000 tonnes of sand, but also its numerous sporting, water and cultural events.
What the programme includes: bowling, ballroom dancing, tai-chi, baby-foot, zumba and even reading... deckchairs and beach bars will also be there. As for watersports lovers, they should head to the la Villette marina, where they can do rowing, canoeing / kayaking, pedalboating...
It’s a festive, fun and free event which offers Parisians and tourists a chance to spend a moment with family or friends in a Paris turned into a veritable resort for the occasion.
