Exhibitions - History
The musée de l’Armée invites the public to bring down the wall of secret services not only in France but also abroad. Fascinating right?
Devoted to the measures secretly implemented by Contemporary States to push through their secret activities, this new exhibition at musée de l’Armée, will combine both seldom disclosed archive documents, provided by many French and foreign institutions, excerpts of fiction films on the issue as well as audiovisual archives.
This chronological event will take the visitor through the emergence of the first intelligence services from mid-XIX century to the end of 1991. It will create an opportunity to discover the evolution of methods used by secret services, key moments and major espionage and counter-espionage figures and even propaganda activities.
Although this exhibition will lay emphasis on France, it will also include Great Britain, the US and even the former USSR.
