Parc de Sceaux

A beautiful space located a stone’s throw from Paris, the Parc de Sceaux is perfect for relaxing outings with family or friends.

Like the Tuileries Gardens or the grounds of the Palace of Versailles, the Parc de Sceaux in the Hauts-de-Seine department, is one of the greatest French formal gardens. Created in the late 18th century by André Le Nôtre at the request of Colbert, then his son, the Marquis de Seignelay, the grounds have almost disappeared at different times.

Spread over more than 180 hectares between Sceaux and Antony, the grounds are no longer the extension of the château around which they once flourished but a park in its own right, characterized by a multitude of gardens. Groves, ponds, a waterfall, extensive greenery, a canal... The Parc de Sceaux is a very large and diverse space, prompting various activities from walking to fishing for pike, carp or trout. You can also picnic in the authorised areas such as the Patte d’oie, the area around the Orangery and the Grand Canal, before following a sporting circuit around the park or unwinding by playing ball on the lawns of the plant nursery.
