Parc zoologique de Paris Vincennes

Parc zoologique de Paris

After several years of closure, the Paris Zoo (commonly known as the ‘Zoo de Vincennes’) re-opened its doors to the public.

After more than two years of work, the Paris Zoo unveils its new look. Visitors can admire and observe different species in their reconstructed natural environment, such as the savannah of the Sahel-Sudan plain, the great conifer forests of Europe or the rocky shores and pampas of Patagonia.

In addition to iconic animals (cats, giraffes, monkeys, wolves, rhinos), the park is home to many endangered species: manatees, lemurs, oryx, gemsbok... and a wide variety of insects and amphibians often unknown to the public.

Different themed routes are offered (fun and senses, biodiversity) and a main circuit of 4km gives visitors the opportunity to discover the biozones. The metamorphosis of this legendary Parisian venue offers a real change of scenery for the whole family.
